Abstract Research
The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between mental health, employee motivation and job satisfaction among employees in Tehran Metro Operations Company.
The method of this study was applied in terms of purpose and in terms of obtaining descriptive (non-test-correlation) data and survey type.
The research population in this study includes all employees and directors of Tehran Metro Operations Company. According to the information obtained from the documents in Tehran Metro Company, the sample number was 400.
The instrument used in this study was GHQ health questionnaire, job satisfaction and job motivation. Validity and reliability of the questionnaire were approved.
The results showed that by promoting a unit of total dimensions of motivation and mental health, 0.127, the standard deviation of salary satisfaction, 0.183 standard deviation of job promotion, 0.306, standard deviation of supervision, 0.270, standard deviation of bonuses and side benefits, 0.334 standard deviations of executive procedures, 0.517 units of standard deviation of communication with colleagues, 0.210 standard deviation of the nature of work, 0.524 units of standard deviation of information will be improved.
In order to examine the fitting of the model, the Xi-two indices, the Xi-2 ratio, the degree of freedom, the root mean of estimation error, goodness of fit, moderate fitness, softened fit and softness were used, all of which showed that the model of adequate fit had.
As a result, managers and experts in the metro operations company should be more focused on mental health indicators to increase motivation and job satisfaction.
